Dust Mitigation - ILC Dover

ILC has leveraged our experience in potent powder pharmaceutical manufacturing containment systems and chemical/biological/nuclear protective equipment to create dust mitigation options for the next generation lunar space suit and lunar habitats. We have developed reusable space suit cover systems, in-vehicle component containment glove-bags, and deployable thin-film rooms to isolate dirty component or provide medical isolation. We have also developed special test fixtures & methods to expose materials and components with lunar regolith simulants in our Laboratories to assess abrasion, impact, penetration and wear performance.
