The design and construction of high reliability floats present one of the most challenging of assignments in softgoods engineering. Operational and performance requirements usually are at the extreme of marine environments including UV radiation, pressure gradients, temperatures, and extended lifetimes.

ILC has developed a number of specialized floats for defense and commercial applications ranging from coated fabrics to high pressure bladder / restraint constructions.
