ILC continues to utilize our years of experience in engineered inflatable components to develop unique solutions to challenging problems. These solutions range from the design and manufacture of class 10,000 clean room covers for the Hubble Space Telescope, to planetary rover components such as rover wheels and rigidizable chassis , to deployable radiators for the dissipation of heat from satellites. ILC has also developed technologies for space deployable decoys for missile deception or to be used as targets. In each of these cases, ILC developed unique materials, processing and manufacturing techniques to compliment the design of the inflatable structure.
