ILC Dover Represents First State in “Made in America” Product Showcase at White House

7/18/17~~Delaware-based ILC Dover, world leader in the innovative design and production of engineered products employing high-performance flexible materials, was asked to represent the First State for the product showcase at “Made in America” week at the White House on Monday, July 17, 2017. Businesses from each state displayed their homegrown products during an afternoon gathering that featured speeches by President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

“It was a great honor for ILC Dover to be involved in this high-profile event,” said Bradford Walters, Vice President and General Manager of ILC’s Engineered Solutions Division. “The day’s themes of homegrown manufacturing and domestic job growth are important to our company as well as the country.”

ILC was one of 12 companies that were showcased in the East Room where the speeches were presented. Its products on display included:
• Spacesuit used on the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station programs
• DoverPac® Flexible Isolator System used in the pharmaceutical market
• Sentinel™ respirator used in the healthcare industry
• Scape® escape respirator used to protect US government officials around the world

Other states (and companies) were represented with products ranging from helicopters and tractors to shovels and conveyor belts.
