Rob Reed
President, Space & Engineered Solutions
As President – Space & Engineered Solutions, Rob Reed provides strategic leadership and direction for ILC Dover’s aerospace and engineered solutions divisions. He joined the Company in 2023, bringing more than 16 years of significant experience from the aerospace and defense (A&D) industry over the course of his career. He began his professional journey at Boeing as an engineer at BCA, followed by legacy UTC in engineering and business development. While at Collins Aerospace, Rob led the Defense division as General Manager with full P&L responsibilities which now includes four sites. He also held leadership positions in program management for several key customers, including Airbus and Boeing, and director of programs for the mission systems space and defense business. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Master of Business Administration and Master of Strategic Management degrees from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
