ILC Dover’s novel mixing system is now Single Use!

With decades of experience with powder into liquid mixing systems, EZ JetFlo™ is the latest innovation in the ILC Dover Single Use product portfolio. State-of-the-art materials are used to safely handle processing pressures while meeting cGMP standards. Using venturi technology, solid particles are effectively pulled into a liquid stream for fast dissolution. The EZ BioPac™ powder bag is used to charge solid materials allowing even poor flowing powders to be effectively mixed without risks of lumping or foaming. When the process is complete, wetted product contact parts are removed without the use of tools and a new Single Use kit is installed quickly gaining additional production capacity. ILC Dover is the leader in single use technology, eliminating costs and risks associated with cleaning making a more sustainable process.

  1. The liquid is continuously recirculated through a closed loop, using a single-use pump, ensuring consistent flow and optimal mixing conditions.
  2. The unique geometry of the EZ JetFlo™,inlet nozzle accelerates the liquid without causing splashing inside the mixing chamber, avoiding the clogging of the chamber.
  3. This acceleration creates a vacuum (based on the Venturi principle) within the mixing chamber, which draws the powder directly into the jet stream for seamless integration.
  4. As the mixture enters the expansion chamber, intense turbulence rapidly disperses and dissolves the powder, resulting in a fast and highly efficient mixing process.
